In 2020 we commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women (Beijing, 1995) and the approval of the Platform for Action unanimously adopted by 189 governments.
This page shows the responses from Latin American and Caribbean governments to the questionnaire on the application of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. These reports will serve as the basis to prepare regional evaluations and reports that will take place in 2020 for the Beijing +25 commemoration.
As it is customary, ECLAC’s Division for Gender Affairs is tasked with putting together the regional report for the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for Action. Past reports as well as other documents about the Platform for Action can be found here.
