Caribbean Youth Dialogues 2025 in preparation of the ECOSOC Youth Forum
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is an opportunity to galvanize action aimed at promoting greater inclusion of youth in all spheres. This roadmap recognizes in several of its goals the centrality of the full incorporation of youth as a necessary condition to move towards more inclusive societies, in which no one is left behind, on a path to sustainable development. However, youth in the Caribbean face many challenges that need to be addressed as precursors to creating environments that enable them to reach their maximum potential to contribute to the achievement of SDGs by 2030, thereby leaving a legacy for future youth generations.

Regional seminar on innovations in the population and housing census of the 2020 Round looking towards the 2030 Round
This is a side event of the twenty-third meeting of the Executive Committee of the SCA-ECLAC. The objective of the seminar is to share innovations from the 2020 census round and lessons learned from the perspective of directors of national statistical offices. It seeks to contribute to the planning of the 2030 census round, enhancing lessons learned and capacities acquired in light of the results and challenges.

The inter-regional expert meeting will strengthen South-South cooperation, enhancing its global visibility by leveraging recent developments. It will host high-level debates on integrating and measuring South-South cooperation in future agendas, amplify the global South's voice and introduce a UN project for pilot studies and training on measurement methods.

The meeting is focused on reaching agreements and sharing experiences to surmount the region’s lag in fulfilling the 2030 Agenda.
