The Inter-American Task Force on Women's Leadership calls for ensuring the participation of women in decision-making to address the COVID-19 crisis

Member organizations of the Inter-American Task Force on Women's Leadership, including ECLAC, express concern regarding the low integration of the gender perspective and women's leadership in response to the social and economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic- 19, and call on States to consider the participation of women at all levels of decision-making in response to this crisis. 

Only with this equal participation it can be ensured a central consideration of the differentiated impacts of the pandemic on the life and well-being of women and men.
