Work Progresses in the Remodelling of the ECLAC Library

ECLAC's Buildings Management Unit is continuing with the successful remodeling of the Hernán Santa Cruz Library. This renewal seeks to convert the facilities into a comfortable, warm, modern space that invites users to leverage valuable information resources and the published heritage of the organziation .

The new library will feature new spaces for collaborative work, areas to peruse the print and digital collections, a training room, a reception room for distinguished guests, as well as a space reserved for the preservation of all printed intellectual production of ECLAC since its inception in 1948.

It is estimated that the remodeling will be finished during the first quarter of this year and the library will begin the logistics of moving into the newly remodeled space.

We continue to thank you for your understanding during this process of improvement, and particularly with your patience regarding the partial availability of library materials and the noises that the work may cause you to some of you.
