The Deputy Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), Antonio Prado, spoke about structural heterogeneity and inequality in a roundtable at the OECD Workshop on Inclusive Growth, which was held at the OECD headquarters in Paris on Wednesday 3 April.

Mr. Prado took part in the second session of the meeting - "Towards a Roadmap for Inclusive Growth Policies" - which focused on discussing the main challenges of identifying inclusive pro-growth policies that can also lead to better results in this area.

The Workshop on Inclusive Growth is an activity of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development that is part of the initiative on Inclusive Growth for Shared Prosperity, which has been launched by OECD in conjunction with the Ford Foundation.

The aim of the meeting was to bring together international experts, decision-makers, corporate and philanthropic foundations, non-governmental organizations, international institutions and regional banks to analyse how to define and design policies conducive to inclusive growth.
