ECLAC's Social Development Division is organizing the Regional Seminar on Social Development, which aims to reflect on and discuss different issues in the area of social development with experts from the United Nations and multilateral organizations, academics and public policy decision-makers in the social area in the region. It is an opportunity to address the strategies that are being proposed in the field of public policies to advance in the construction of Welfare States and consolidate universal, comprehensive, resilient and sustainable social protection systems in the region.
