The Network of National Public Investment Systems of Latin America and the Caribbean (RedSNIP) was created in 2010 to strengthen the functioning of these state systems. It is currently made up of the directors of the SNIPs of the region and is supported by ECLAC, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

It focuses on the importance of an environmental big push for equality and sustainability, supported by coordinated public policies capable of decoupling development from environmental externalities and improving the quality of life of the population.
