How to Follow the First Meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development in Mexico

All panels at the annual meeting will be broadcast live on April 26-28. The invitation on social networks is to participate in the debates using the hashtags #ForoALC2030 and #LACForum2030.

The first meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development, created in 2016, will be held on April 26-28 in Mexico City, Mexico, under the sponsorship of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). The objective is to assess regional implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The event will be attended by representatives of governments, the United Nations, international financial institutions and development banks, regional and subregional integration organizations, civil society, the parliamentary arena, academia and the private sector in the region.

Website

The website created for the occasion, ://foroalc2030.cepal.org/2017/en, provides general information on the event, accreditation forms, the programme, reference documents and reports and press releases and news, as well as links to ECLAC’s social media accounts. It also includes details on the multiple participating stakeholders, among other informational resources.

Live Broadcast

All meeting panels will be broadcast live. The direct link will be up shortly on the Forum website. Any media outlets or organizations are free to replicate the broadcast on their own web portals.
