ECLAC Digital Repository in RePEc

The Hernán Santa Cruz Library has made efforts to incorporate the contents of the Digital Repository within the RePEc database (Research Papers in Economics) in order to make the knowledge and research conducted by ECLAC in the areas of economic and social development in the region more visible and widely disseminated,

Fifty-six collections including nearly 20,000 publications related to research were selected from the more than 35,000 documents of the Repository. This addition to RePEc extends the search possibilities of the academic world and facilitates citation analysis and ranking of use of these publications.

RePEc is one of the largest open access digital libraries and is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. This database gathers publications, working papers, journal articles of more than 13,000 institutions in eighty-seven countries. RePEc is an essential source of information to access to the latest results of economic research; and it is among the largest internet repositories of academic material in the world. RePEc is positioned in fifth place in the ranking of world repositories (://repositories.webometrics.info/es/world).
