A brief selection of some historical documents from 1973 to the eighties

The Economic Commission for Latin America (CEPAL) activities pertaining to the situation of Latin began in compliance with CEPAL resolution 321 (XV),adopted at the fifteenth session of the Commission (Quito, March 1973), in which the member governments recommended that the CEPAL Secretariat should prepare a study on participation of women in the development of the region and the measures to be taken to eliminate discrimination and the lack of educational, employment and economic opportunities for women. A brief selection of some documents that reflect regional initiatives and ECLAC in relation to the progress.
