Representatives of governments and international organizations participated in the second day of the thirty-ninth session of ECLAC, which is taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Alicia Bárcena, ECLAC’s Executive Secretary, took part in the closing session of the II High-Level CELAC-China Forum and the VI China-LAC Think Tanks Forum.

The structural problems of Latin American and Caribbean economies and new international scenarios make it essential for FDI to contribute to driving development with equality and environmental sustainability in the region, ECLAC says in its annual report on this topic.
The annual report will be released at a virtual press conference this Wednesday, December 2, by the United Nations regional organization’s Executive Secretary, Alicia Bárcena.
