The United Nations regional organization ratified its “Caribbean First” strategy in times of pandemic, during a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of the organization, presented the outlook for the subregion during an event held in New York in the framework of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum.
In a message sent during the second Caribbean Development Round Table, the Executive Secretary of ECLAC Alicia Bárcena highlighted the importance of South-South cooperation.
