Authorities from the region held the Nineteenth Meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Council for Planning of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute of Economic and Social Planning.
The Seventeenth Conference of Ministers and Chiefs of Planning of Latin America and the Caribbean was inaugurated today at ECLAC headquarters in Santiago, Chile.
At a virtual leaders' summit, ECLAC’s Executive Secretary also pointed up the Escazú Agreement, which guarantees access to information, justice and public participation in environmental matters.
