Authorities concluded the Fifth Meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Population and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of the United Nations regional commission, made an official visit to Lima today, where she met with President Pedro Castillo and members of his Cabinet.
Participants in the meeting include 24 delegations of ministers and authorities from member countries of the Regional Conference on Population and Development, along with representatives of the UN system and civil society.
The fourth meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Population and Development will be held at ECLAC’s headquarters in Santiago, Chile, 9 - 10 October 2019
