"Wherever we are, each of us can make a difference for human rights -- in our neighbourhoods, in school, at work, on social media, at home and even in sporting arenas across the world", Ban Ki-moon says.

According to projections by the United Nations regional organization, 175 million people were living in situations of poverty in late 2015 in Latin America.
