ECLAC will host the XXXVI Regional Seminar on Fiscal Policy, a renowned international forum that has brought together leaders, specialists, civil society, and academia for 36 years to discuss fiscal policy challenges faced by countries in the region.
Leaders from the Ministries of Finance of 13 countries across the region will participate in the meeting, along with renowned experts from international organisations, academia, civil society organisations and NGOs.
The meeting will be inaugurated on Monday, 6 May at 14:30 Chilean time (GMT -4) by José Manuel Salazar-Xirinachs, Executive Secretary of ECLAC; a representative from the Ministry of Finance of Chile; and Laura Oroz, Director of Co-operation with Latin America and the Caribbean at AECID.
